The
Arc Ghost by Nunatak has broken the one pound barrier with
a fully baffled sleeping bag based on the venerable Arc
Alpinist concept. The variable girth sleeping bag design
paired with a full two inches of goose down makes the Arc
Ghost an extremely versatile 3 season down quilt rated at
a conservative 32 degree Fahrenheit (0 degree Celsius).
In typical Arc fashion,
the Ghost features two underside straps, adjusting the bags
circumference in relation to temperature; tight and cozy in
the cold and loose and ventilated in moderate conditions.
For low altitude summer environments, the Arc Ghost can be
used as a simple cover with the feet in or out of the foot
box.
This is a sleeping quilt
that's equally at home with the dedicated thru hiker or the
casual weekend warrior, or anyone who appreciates an ultralight
sleeping bag of the modern idiom. Epic shell pictured at right. |
