Behind the Bears Ears Pack Name
The Bears Ears is a distinctly shaped high ridge visible for hundreds of square miles in SE Utah. Obama designated the surrounding vast area of natural and sacred cultural significance a National Monument, finally providing meaningful protection
In 2016 the Bears Ears NM was practically bordering our then shop in Moab. Simultaneously with the development of this pack, a handful of small, loud white Utah boys cried out to Trump’s ego and soon after the Monument’s size was reduced drastically
We saw it fitting to use the name given our location and passion for the remaining wild areas of the west. Trump is now a distant nightmare, and Biden has restored the Monument
