Hipbelt Size

Hipbelt should at least partially ride on the upper part of the hipbone. The body's circumference here is usually greater than the waist; if in doubt measure yourself

Our shoulder straps are S-shaped and padded with 0.5" thick Evazote. They have 'soft' edges

Compression Straps

Works only with the Dual Side Pockets and Vertical Daisy Chains option above.

Use to haul snowshoes and similar seasonal/activity dependent equipment. Also useful for compressing the load. Front compression (as opposed to typical side compression) works well to resist uncomfortable 'barreling' of the part of the pack against a users back

Hardware Selection

The Regular setup with longer straps etc allows for bigger bulkier items to be carried in winter and/or in special use cases.

The Ul setup saves a few grams and shorter straps leaves less clutter. Some find the Lineloc load lifters to operate smoother.
