Designed for 3 season use in the mountains, this fully baffled box construction garment is filled with our 900FP goose down resulting in 1.25 inches of continuous loft.
Fitted as suggested the Skaha Vest is cut for utility and generous layering. Often a snugger vest is desired and can be achieved with a size less than a jacket with similar specs.
Among the many uses for the Skaha Vest is the advantage of boosting the temperature rating of your sleeping bag by providing core warmth to the torso region.
We build the Skaha Vest with simplicity and low weight as our design parameters. It has no extras, zero bells and whistles, nothing to snag or break or get in the way of traveling light and fast. What you do get is maximum warmth for the given weight, and a clean looking, functional garment. Standard features include a pullover style half zipper backed by a draft tube, and an elastic draw cord and toggle at the waist.
Without overstepping the boundaries of simplicity, our Skaha series of down vests has options of a sweatshirt style kangaroo pocket, integrated hood and other custom features, available on the configuration menu below.
Often a better fitting vest is a size less than a jacket with similar specs.

Ordered the Skaha vest in large part due to sizing problems or mediocre construction I experienced with other brands. I am delighted with the Skaha! It is warm, the custom features that I wanted were all well-executed, and, most importantly, the fit is close to perfect. I enjoyed wearing this vest so much that I'm now bummed that warmer weather is upon us.

I ordered a hooded vest with pocket in exactly the material that I wanted and it arrived promptly, with superb communication all along the way.
