Tips
Foam pad(s) are easily removed and carried on your pack. The bivy can then be compressed with care, like any high-end down product, and stuffed in a dog pack or in your pack. The latter is recommended unless you supply a dry bag.
Most dogs take to this igloo style soft dog house pretty quickly, especially if they are cold already.
Some attention to their situation may be needed during the night: they can leave the bivy and not being able to get back in. Or slide off the pad and settle partially on the canopy. To help with the former use a cord and the loop on the center opening to slightly suspend the entrance. For the latter there are stake loops at the corners which might be useful with a floorless shelter or cowboy camping.

Awesome piece of kit!
I bought a Nunatak bivy for my small dog and have used it extensively in all seasons. My dog loves the shelter and security the bivy offers, while the Nunatak product is significantly lighter and more compact than anything else I could find out there. Highly recommended!
